伏兵が人生初の劇的ヒットを放った。０－０の９回１死二塁、日本ハム稲田が中日中田から中前適時打となるサヨナラ打。チームメートからペットボトルの水で歓喜のシャワー、稲葉からはコーラまでぶっかけられた。うっすら茶色に染まったユニホームで引き揚げてくると絶叫した。「ホント、臭いんですよ！」。幸せいっぱいの“クレーム”で、連敗を３で止める勝利の余韻に浸った。
