横浜が山梨・甲府で「風林火山」を演じた。約１カ月ぶりの３連勝。２回に先制されても、その裏に“風”のように素早く逆転。大矢監督は「先制されても、うちの流れという感じだった」と“林”のように静かに振り返った。“火”のように激しい１発も飛び出した。３回、吉村が７号２ランで突き放した。終盤は“山”のように不動の必勝リレーで、西武に付け入るスキを与えなかった。
