オリックス・ローズが巨人時代以来、２年ぶり５度目の４試合連続弾を放った。２回、石井一の内角速球をフルスイング。右翼席へライナーで先制１８号ソロをたたき込んだ。「４番としての仕事をキッチリできたよ」。戻ったベンチでは日本語で「シゴト、キッチリ」を連発。「引っ越しのサカイ」のＣＭソングを歌いまくってナインを盛り上げた。２日の横浜戦で、自身初となる５試合連続弾に挑む。
