“ミラクル”快進撃ー。楽天が中日に逆転勝ちし、３連勝で４位に浮上した。２点差の９回、１死満塁からリックの右犠飛、鷹野の右前適時打で同点。なお２死一、二塁の場面で鉄平は二ゴロだったが、森野の一塁悪送、渡辺の本塁悪送球のダブルエラーで２者が生還してラッキーな決勝点を奪った。これで球団初となる月間１４勝で５月初の勝率５割。３１日の試合で、球団創設最初の試合となった０５年３月２６日ロッテ戦以来の貯金１を目指す。
