日本ハム・ヒルマン監督が今季初の雨天中止に、ベンチで「奇行」を繰り返した。午後６時１０分に決定すると１人、ベンチで「プレーボール！ プレーボール！」と甲高い声で絶叫。８連勝、交流戦６連勝中と好調で、６月１日の札幌への移動休日もなくなったことで、恨めしかったよう。「こればかりはしょうがない」と納得はしていたが、本音は違うようだった。
