巨人小笠原が自身初となる１試合３本塁打を放った。７回の第４打席、オリックス金子の直球をはじき返し、右中間席に低いライナーで運んだ。「追い込まれていたので、食らいついていきました。１試合３本？ 自分の中では記憶にないね」。ベンチでも仲間から「すごいっすね～」と声を掛けられていた。
