中日先発山本昌投手（４１）が、プロ野球史上８０人目の通算５００試合登板を果たした。８６年１０月１６日ヤクルト戦での初登板からプロ２４年目での達成となった。５回表終了後に花束を渡され、ファンの声援に応えた。
