楽天山崎武が４回、２０号ソロアーチを放った。１死走者なしから、土肥のチェンジアップをすくい上げ、左翼席に運んだ。２０号の大台は両リーグ通じて一番乗り。「緩いボールに対して、うまく入っていけたよ。完ぺきに打てたよ」とコメント。また、リックは２回、今季１号となる先制ソロ。「打ったのは真っすぐじゃないかな。先制点が欲しいところで打てて良かったよ」。
