日本ハム田中賢がバースデーに結婚宣言？した。ちょうどソフトバンク王監督が６７歳を迎えたこの日が、地元・福岡での２６歳の誕生日。試合前練習開始前には、チーム恒例のセレモニーであいさつをさせられ、何と仰天発言が飛び出した。「今年中に結婚します！」。これにはチームメートもビックリで一瞬シーンとしたが、親しい若手選手らから一斉に「（発言が）寒～い」とヤジの集中砲火を浴びた。この状況から、真偽のほどはというと単なるリップサービスのようでした。
