４年目の右腕金森が１軍に初めて合流した。１７日の夜１１時ごろ、出場選手登録の連絡を受けた。「もしかしたらという話はあったけど、驚いた。初登板？ 緊張するかもしれないけど思い切って投げたい」と意気込んだ。ヒルマン監督は「ファームから推薦があった。状況に応じて起用していく」と話した。
