中日は連日の打線爆発で広島に連勝した。１回、ウッズの右前タイムリーで先制。その後も先発全員の１７安打で今季初の２試合連続２ケタ得点で広島を圧倒した。大量援護をもらいプロ初先発で６回３安打２失点と好投、２勝目を挙げたルーキー浅尾拓也投手（２２＝日本福祉大）は「いけるところまでいこうと思っていました。５回までに味方の方がたくさん点を取ってくださったので、気持ちに余裕ができてリズムよく投げることができたと思います」と笑顔で話していた。
