先発ダルビッシュ有が３安打１失点の完投勝利で４勝目を挙げ、本拠地１０連勝を決めた。４月７日ソフトバンク戦からの５試合連続完投は、日本ハムでは９３年に西崎が９試合連続で記録して以来。今季最多の３万８３７１人がスタンドを埋めたが「声援がすごい力になった。（札幌の）６連戦では毎日これくらい入ってください」とお立ち台でファンに呼び掛けていた。
