阪神赤星が負傷退場した。３点差の７回２死満塁、広島梵の打球は右中間へ。中堅から決死のダイビングキャッチを試みたが、打球は無情にもこぼれて、決定的な３失点。そのまま苦悶の表情を浮かべ、ベンチに退いた。「また頚（けい）部に痛みを発症しました」と常川チーフトレーナー補佐。４月１６日、頚椎（けいつい）椎間板ヘルニアの診断を受けていた。だましだましのプレーが続いていたが、悪化した見込みだ。
