横浜仁志が先頭打者アーチを放った。広島先発はナックルボーラーのフェルナンデス。初回、１１６キロを左翼席にたたき込んだ。仁志は「打ったのはナックルかな。回転のない不思議な球でしたが、バットのシンでとらえることができました。幸先のよい形で先制点が取れましたね」と喜んだ。
