日本ハム・セギノールが１点を追う６回無死一、三塁から右翼席へ特大の逆転３ラン。２７日の先制２ランに続く、価値ある２試合連続の１発になった。５回まで２安打と沈黙していたオリックス平野佳の内角速球を、完ぺきの捕らえた当たり。「その前の球を打ち損じていたけど今度はしっかりミートできたよ。どこまでも飛ばすぜ！」と上機嫌だった。
