横浜投手陣が中日打線に１５安打され、１１失点で大敗を喫した。打線も８安打したが、連打がなく無得点と投打にいいところなく終わった。大矢明彦監督（５９）は「とりたてて言うことはないね。かなり悪い試合の部類でしょう」と淡々と話した。
