横浜が快勝した。５回に４連打を含む５安打４得点など、打線がつながった。４番村田修一内野手（２６）が３安打、５番鈴木尚外野手（３４）が４安打の固め打ち。大矢明彦監督（５９）は「打線が切れないで点に結び付いた。少しずつ上向いてきたね」と喜んでいた。
