阪神藤川球児投手（２６）がオープン戦２試合目の登板で、６回１イニングを完全に抑えた。２月２５日オリックス戦（高知）以来の登板で、甲子園で投げるのは今年初。星、古城、脇谷の３人を、いずれもストレートで凡飛に打ち取った。「今日は“魅せる”ことがテーマ」と登板後のコメントも、心憎いものだった。
