ロッテが０－３で迎えた６回に、今江の左越え２点本塁打を含む６安打を集中させて一挙５点を奪って逆転し、その後も竹原の本塁打などで加点してオリックスを下した。期待の新戦力左腕の呉偲佑投手（ウー・スヨ＝２４＝台湾・ラニュー）がオープン戦２度目の先発をしたが、４回を投げて被安打５、失点２。「走者が出ると焦ってしまい、真っすぐのコントロールもまだ。あまり満足はしていない」と表情はさえなかった。
