ロッテ大学・社会人ドラフト６巡目・中郷大樹投手（２２＝ＪＲ四国）がオープン戦デビューを果たした。８回から５番手として登板。オリックス４番岡田、５番下山を連続三振に打ち取る立ち上がりも、次打者に四球を与えると、日高には左翼フェンス直撃の適時二塁打を浴びた。「緊張しました。２アウト後の四球と、（ボールが）甘く入らないことが反省点と今後の課題です」と振り返った。
