横浜が巨人との“プレ開幕戦”を逆転で制した。１番二塁の仁志敏久内野手（３５）が１回裏にいきなり三塁打を放ち、ハマの切り込み隊長として、古巣・巨人相手に存在感を見せつけた。チームも今季オープン戦初白星を挙げ、再任の大矢明彦監督（５９）にとっては、９７年１０月１２日の阪神戦（甲子園）以来、３４３１日ぶりの勝利となった。敗れた巨人も横浜からＦＡ移籍の門倉健投手（３３）が２回を１四球無失点と好投し、横浜との開幕カード登板が濃厚となった。
