MLB is spanning the globe: International plans include tour of Korea and Chinese Taipei
A year after the opening of the first World Baseball Classic in Tokyo Dome, the folks at Major League Baseball International are considering a caldron of new global events.

On the drawing board right now are opening the 2008 season abroad, with the prime contenders being Japan and China; plus the first postseason MLB All-Star tour of Korea and Chinese-Taipei this November. Plans are also being made for the next Classic, scheduled for Spring Training of 2009.
