This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Great idea for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles to stage those day games at Fullcast Stadium Miyagi on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, April 3-5.
The Eagles hosted the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters in weekday matinees, as it is just too cold to play at night in Sendai in early April.
The crowds were not bad at the 23,000-seat ballpark, either, with the three-day attendances reported as 10,900, 11,342 and 18,021.
