Marines step up, tame Lions for 1st win of season
Yoshihisa Naruse gave the Marines exactly what they needed a strong outing and a chance to win a ball game.

Naruse allowed a run in 7-1/3 innings and Toshiaki Imae broke a ninth inning tie with an RBI single as Chiba Lotte beat the Seibu Lions 3-1 at Goodwill Dome on Wednesday. The win was the Marines' first after two ties and a loss.
