I just picked up this book (The Samurai Way of Baseball, The Impact of Ichiro and the New Wave from Japan) written by Robert Whiting.

Has anyone ever read it? What are your thoughts?

I believe that "The Samurai Way of Baseball" is the second edition/paperback version of "The Meaning of Ichiro" (full review can be found here). It's far and away the most reviewed book on this site, so I think that you'll find all the commentary you're looking for there.
