I am also looking for imformation reguarding importing baseball bats into Japan. Anything available would be of great interest and help. Thank You

Well, I'm not sure what you mean. I don't think that there would be a problem packing one in your luggage. A search for customs rules on various countries should be able to tell you if it's OK or not, though.
If it's for business, then the best place to ask would be your nearest Japanese Embassy. They should know what you need to do in way of paperwork and packaging for importing goods to Japan.
