However, the total number of registered players for participation is limited to be within four (4), with as many as three (3) registered as either a fielder or pitcher at a given time.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

I received information that Darwin Cubillan, a Venezuelan reliever and former big leaguer, accepted a contract with a Japanese club. If it is true, do you know the salary? (It could be that the information refered to a Korean team, but I have not read anything about his signing.)
