This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. I'm a reporter for the Wall Street Journal writing an article about why it is so difficult to organize an international World Cup-style baseball competition. I know a major factor is Japan rejecting the MLB's proposed World Cup, for a variety of reasons. If anyone knows more about this or knows someone I should contact about this, I would greatly appreciate it if you could please let me know.
