World Cup of Baseball Difficulties?

World Cup of Baseball Difficulties?
Hello,

I'm a reporter for the Wall Street Journal writing an article about why it is so difficult to organize an international World Cup-style baseball competition. I know a major factor is Japan rejecting the MLB's proposed World Cup, for a variety of reasons. If anyone knows more about this or knows someone I should contact about this, I would greatly appreciate it if you could please let me know.

Many thanks for your attention to this.

Best,

The only thing I know about it is what Kiyoshi-san posted here. The article linked to from there in the Korea Times is still available.

Hope this helps.
