This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

I'm curious, because I'm a lefty and I always batted right handed. I think it has something to do with the fact that I used my right foot to shoot in soccer. Most of the lefties I knew in soccer kicked the ball with their left foot, where as I was rare for using the right foot.
I'm guessing the dominant foot has something to do with which foot you're comfortable planting and which one lifting while in the batter box. So does anyone know any players who threw lefty and batted righty?
