Fielding Stats?
Hey Commish, great site! Do you know of anywhere I could find fielding stats for NPB? I've checked all the usual sites without any luck. I would need an English source because I can't read Japanese.

I got my 2003 Baseball Record Book (ISBN4-583-03724-4, Baseball Magazine Sha), just came out last Wednesday, and am entering the data - now. Hope to have them up next week.

The follow up to this is here. In short, I've gotten 2002 Central League stats in over winter vacation. Pacific League will trickle in. If there's anyone in particular you're looking for, I can enter his/their stats back to 1995.

Nope, wasn't looking for anyone in particular just a general view so I could try and start lining names up with actual positions. Seems to me that Japanese players are slightly more flexible than their US counterparts when it comes to positions played. Is this a reflection of better (well rounded) defensive skills or in the way the different sets of managers use their players?
