This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

I'm watching the Tiger's game and Kanemoto just hit a home run that cleared the fence by about 10 centimeters.
We've all heard that Japanese ballparks are smaller than American parks. I've heard that it is an average difference of about 10 to 15 feet at the right/left walls. So:
Which stadium has the smallest field? I think it is Hiroshima or Jingu (Yakult), but I am not sure.
Which stadium has the largest field?
Which stadium has the shortest/longest distance to center field for a home run?
What is the shortest distance at left/right for a home run at a Japanese ballpark?
