Hawks Games for Docomo FOMA Users

Hawks Games for Docomo FOMA Users
If you own a Docomo FOMA mobile phone in Japan, you'll be able to catch the Hawks on a live basis through updated video frame pics. Up until now the games were always updated to the mobile phones using text or still pictures, but now the new FOMA service will provide up to 6 frames per second of live game footage. The service will start with the May 17 game against the Yomiuri Giants, and only be available for Hawks home games played at Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome. To access the service, enter the following URL into your FOMA capable mobile phone: http://im.hawkseye.net
or from your mobile phone's imenu, click on menu list, then sports, and then Hakws Town.
(Note: menu will be in Japanese)

The service will probably require you to sign up for the monthly contents fee (I'm guessing around 300 yen/month), and will most likely feature only a Japanese Language interface, but for you Hawks fans using Docomo's FOMA service, it will be one more way to catch your favorite team in action on the go. No word on whether the service will be provided to any other mobile phone service carriers in Japan yet.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
