During Ichiro's first year, the fans sang this short song:

Tadaima uridashi-chuu no suupaa-sutaa / 200-hon anda wo utu zo Ichiro

Translation:
"The superstar now breaking out / He'll hit 200 hits - Ichiro!"

After his rookie season, a new song was used:

(Ichiro call) Hashire, shippuu no you ni / zensokuryoku de sajinmaki agete hashire Ichiro!

The Ichiro call is the "I-CHI-ROOOO" they've imported to Seattle. The rest of the song is translated:

"Run like the strong wind / Raise a dust cloud with all your speed; run, Ichiro!"

This second song utilizes the melody originally used for Hankyu Braves speedster Fukumoto Yutaka, the Japanese Rickey Henderson.

Many thanks to the 12-Team Ouenka Database for the information!
