This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

I am happy to be a member of this board and I desire tp remain current with a great sport and a great culture. I have been to Japan more than a few times and am a big fan of Pro Yakyu and Japan in general. I love MLB of course but do not desire to see MLB crowd out Pro Yakyu. I was a fixture at Dodger stadium for many years, witnessing the advent of asian players such as Hideo Nomo and Chan-Ho Park and I believe in the greatness of Asian Baseball. I appreciate the passion that is associated with Pro Yakyu and look forward following this great sport more closely.
