This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

But if somehow there's someone reading this post who isn't on the mailing list that would want to come to a game with a bunch of us, we're planning to see the Hawks-Marines game in Chiba on Thursday night, the 27th. I think the current plan is to get unreserved seats and sit together in the upper deck.
If you're interested in joining, you can email me or Westbay (addresses are in the appropriate profiles) and we can try to get you in on the loop. Alternately, just show up in Chiba and look for the crazy group of gaijin (I'll try to wear my Bobby 2010 t-shirt or something otherwise conspicuous).
(Westbay -- has this already been posted somewhere? If so, feel free to delete this one, I just didn't see anything anywhere about it.)
