The All-Star Games are one of the few revenue sources for the Senshukai (NPBPA) pension system (there's something very wrong with this structure), so the players will be very unwilling to let them go. But a better solution would be to negotiate a CBA that creates a decent pension system for retired players.

I really like the Asian Series, but it really hasn't caught on. Unless Giants, Tigers and to maybe some extent Marines win the Japan Series, Tokyo Dome will be pretty empty making it an anti climax to the Japan Series which is a shame.

Moving it away from Tokyo Dome to the home team's turf should be considered such as Nagoya, Hokkaido, etc.

That would be a shame if they discontinued the all-star game, as it's been going for almost 60 years now!
