What Happened to the Buffaloes?

What Happened to the Buffaloes?
I watched today's (October 12) game. The Buffaloes lost 7-2.

I though the Buffaloes played a very poor game:
  • A very strange "hit" in the second inning. With the bases loaded and two out, a fly ball to second turned into a hit: 2-0 for the Fighters.
  • In the fifth inning and two outs, the shortstop dropped an easy fly ball: 3-0 for the Fighters.
  • Bad base running. In the sixth inning with one out and a runner at first, there was a bloop hit to right field. The runner was easily tagged out at third.
  • In the ninth inning the Fighters' pitcher started with 2 walks. The third batter immediately swung and hit on the first pitch and hit a fly ball. Why?!
All in all I saw a solid Fighters team. But the Buffaloes could have been much better.

Even though the Buffaloes finished with a better record, I wasn't surprised by this result. I was at the game yesterday and it was very bad baseball. The Buffaloes haven't played meaningful games like this in a while and it showed.

Meanwhile, the Fighters showed their experience. They may not score a lot of runs, but they win with their pitching, defense, and smart baseball.

Rhodes and Cabrera didn't show up to the ballpark for starters, and the inexperience of the young Buffaloes players in the post season showed. I think the only person in the entire Buffaloes' organization (or related to) who was having a good time was Kiyohara, who was shown in his own private box playing with his cheer goods. It was kinda funny to be honest.
