Stellar in Sendai: Iwakuma bright spot for lowly Eagles
While the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles have faded out of contention during the second half of the season, Hisashi Iwakuma has continued to establish himself as the top pitcher in Japanese baseball.

Dear the Japan Times:

You misspelled Yoshinori Satoh (佐藤義則). I don't know who this fictitious Yasunori who supposedly won 21 games for Hankyu is, but yes, the hotshot rookie for Yakult (佐藤由規) is actually not the first famous pitcher named Yoshinori Satoh (and he'll have quite a challenge to live up to the first one's career).

21 wins as of this post. How many losses? He was 18-3.

Doubly impressive when you consider his team has been mediocre offensively for much of the season.

Triple-impressive, considering he won 3 NPB pitching titles for a mediocre team.
