Yu Darvish Pitching Probables / Schedule

Yu Darvish Pitching Probables / Schedule
I'd like to see Darvish pitch, if possible, near Tokyo. I can't find a pitching probable schedule to see if he is lined up to pitch against Seibu this coming Monday or Tuesday (Golden Week) when I could see the game.

Any ideas where I can find this? Or better yet, can someone tell me when he is set to pitch next? Next Monday or Tuesday I hope.

I'm pretty sure he'll pitch Monday or Tuesday - he last pitched in Chiba on Wednesday, so with 4 games off that'd be Monday, or 5 games would be Tuesday, but I think they'll probably put Darvish in on 4 games rest - Masaru Takeda is out of the rotation for a while with a broken thumb, but Kazuhito Tadano just got put in (and is apparently pitching tonight! I'm very excited that I'll be there for Tadano's first ichi-gun start in Japan, but very worried because Rakuten's putting up Iwakuma).

My guess is if you go to both of the Seibu games you will see Darvish in one or the other. I'm going to Monday's game; come say hi if you're in the Fighters outfield cheering section!

No Darvish today, and tomorrow's scheduled Fighters starter is Dass. I thought they were joking and misspelled Darvish when they announced it at the game today, but no, that's really on the official site. That'll be interesting, for sure -- Seibu starter is Kazuhisa Ishii.

(I'm going to Yokohama tomorrow though, so oh well.)

I envy you (in a good way) being able to go to Yokohama and all other ballparks at will. I think if I ever make it to Japan, it will be a permanent visit. I have always been fascinated with their culture and way of life. Hey, maybe I was Japanese in a past life and am waiting to return home. Lol

Have a great time and Move on BayStars!

I can't really go to most ballparks at will. My trip to Sapporo was planned several months in advance, and I've still never been to Fukuoka (but that's the only one left for me, not counting Skymark). But within Kanto? Sure, all of the parks are within 2 hours. (For example, to go to Yokohama I get on a Keihin-Tohoku train up here in Saitama, and then sit on it for like an hour and a half until I get off in Kannai.) Of course, I can only go to games on Sundays - except when we have these national holidays.

Anyway. Tomorrow -- May 7th -- is Darvish vs. Wakui at the Seibu Dump - naturally the day after Golden Week ends, so it'll be nearly impossible for most people to get out there. Sigh.

Do you mean they pronounce "Dalubisshu"? Is that the reason you thought they were misspelling?

I've been thinking about this for a while now, glad to see it's already a topic.

The Hamsters have 4 games in Tokyo in the last week of this month - 25th/26th at the Tokyo Dome, then 28th/29th at Jingu vs. the Swallows.

Is there any way to tell this far in advance which of those games our boy might pitch?

Woohoo, it's Darvish day tomorrow, the 14th! I'll be there with my Darvish shirt.
