Giants and Ramirez

Discussion in the Open Talk forum
Giants and Ramirez
The Giants are going after Ramirez, the released Swallows' outfielder. Apparently, they feel he would be a good fit. If they succeed this will really beef up their team.

Think about a lineup with Ogasawara, Lee, Ramirez, Abe, Yoshinobu, Nishioka, Tani.

They already outscored every team in both leagues, and with Ramirez coming off such a monster year he had, this Giants' offense is just going to get more ridiculous.

Also, they've found themselves a closer. If the rotation can continue what they did this year (Hisanori, Uchimi, Kaneto) with Uehara possibly back in the top of the rotation, then this team is going to be hard to beat in '08.
