Alex Cabrera fastest to 200
Alex Cabrera hit NPB career home run number 200 during the July 11 game against the Lotte Marines at Invoice Seibu Dome, to become the 84th person in NPB history to reach the mark. He reached 200 in game number 538, beating the previous fastest game mark of 578 games set by former Kintetsu Buffalo and current Orix Buffalo batting coach Ralph Bryant. Alex' first home run came back on Mar. 27, 2001 against the Orix Blue Wave.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
