Home Run Grounds
Kanemoto of the Tigers has now hit home runs in 31 grounds throughout Japan. Who has hit home runs in the most grounds?

Sanspo reports that a Kazuhiro Yamauchi (Mainichi, Daimai, Hanshin, and Hiroshima) hit home runs at 39 grounds, while Koji Yamamoto, Sachio Kinugasa (both Hiroshima) and Hiromitsu Kadota (Nankai, Orix) cleared the fences at 32 grounds. This was apparently thought to be the record until someone recently unearthed Yamauchi's feat.

Sanspo also reports that these are only the records for the two-league system, and points out that in the one-league years, teams often travelled to out-of-the-way places for games. It mentions that Makoto Kozuru (Chunichi, Shochiku) homered at 48 grounds during this period.

Kanemoto joined the rest on 32 with his home run versus Hiroshima tonight.
