On to Monterey and Washington!
Taiwan pulled out a close 2-1 decision over Japan in the Bronco division (Pony) Asia-Pacific Zone Tourney to advance to Monterey, CA. Starting pitcher Chia-Ming Tu (hit 75 mph) was spot-on, holding the team from Japan to 1 run over 7 innings, K'ing 9.
