Japan beats Taiwan, Grabs Olympic Birth at Asian Championships
Tsuyoshi Nishioka, Munenori Kawasaki, Takahiro Arai and Shinnosuke Abe knocked in runs during a six-run seventh inning rally that led Japan to a 10-2 victory over Chinese Taipei, giving the Japanese a clean sweep and an Olympic Birth at the conclusion of the Asian Championships.
