This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Instead, I start a tutorial/project that creates visualizations of velocity charts that do not conform to the "norms." It is an exploration of the d3.js JavaScript library. If you create web pages, have some skills with JavaScript, and have always wanted to turn tables into graphs and charts, this might be of interest. If you're looking for Pro Yakyu news, this and the next few may not be for you - check back in a month.
I do hope that what I'm starting with this series gets picked up by other baseball bloggers, so you'll perhaps come across the results in the near future.
