I might have to take you up on your offer. I'm not even halfway done translating the brackets and prefectural qualifiers will begin all over next weekend. I'm not sure what capacity you can help out yet, but I have updated brackets with scores that I haven't posted. Perhaps you can start with that and we can go from there. How should I send them to you?

Sorry! Just left you a message on your website. I haven't been on this site all week.

Yes, I am trying to keep my head from spinning over this weekend's games.

Tennoji (of "Kokoyakyu" fame) just lost within the last hour. 61 straight years of no Finals for them. Boo.

Well, if you look at most prefectures, they're dominated by several schools. While each school has a dream of making it, more often than not it seems like more often it's about how far you can go. It's kinda sad in a way - which is why I like the underdog at times.

Tenri made it through their first game, while Nishinomiya Kita in Hyogo-ken - the school made famous by the series "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" has yet to play. I don't think their baseball program has gotten a boost from the series though - although it would be funny if it did.
