2009 Senbatsu Chat

2009 Senbatsu Chat
The 2009 High School Invitational (aka Senbatsu) is starting tomorrow morning (March 21, 2009) JST.

One of the most popular chats on this site over the years has been the Koshien chats, so I've setup the chat room for people to gather and comment on the event live. While I've got a number of family commitments over the weekend, I'll try to be in the chat room when possible.

The most frequent question over the years has been "Where can I see the game over the Internet live?" and/or "Where are the live streams?" Your best bet would be Justin.TV. When a game is live, it'll be listed there. Not before, and not after (replays).

Oh, so they won't be having any recordings of the games on the website of MBS? Because I can remember watching the games there last year. You could see the matches inning per inning. Not the real thing, but better than anything else.

I'm pretty sure MBS is doing it. Check their site.

Here we go again! I'm amped! It looks like the first game was awesome. I'm hoping somebody can find a link where we can watch some video footage. Like Jan said, watching it on MBS was a little tasking but better than nothing.

Actually they do have video coverage on MBS. I just watched some of the first game-what a game! This is the link I'm using.

With the end of the WBC, how about joining us in the Koshien Chat Room? It's up for the duration of the tournament.

Konan's Shimabukuro has struck out 19 through 10 in the first game this morning, but is on the hook for the loss as Tomiyama Sho's Murakami has been practically perfect since the 4th, shutting out Konan.

If my eyes were right then MBS will provide a live stream for the semis and the final game of the tournament. Yay!

My apologies for not visiting the chatroom, but whenever I find the time in the morning the games have already ended. What a shame.
