Toho pounds out 19 hits to beat Hokkai
Leadoff man Yusuke Yamada smacked the very first pitch of the game over the right-center field fence to ignite Toho's 19-hit slugfest as the West Aichi school pounded Hokkai of South Hokkaido 15-10 on Wednesday in the national high school championship.
