Only a few weeks to go until the Summer Koushien
While browsing through the listings at WordPress I came across an article dealing with the prelimenary stages of the Summer Koushien Baseball High School Tournament. A very interesting one.

The prefectural tournaments are finishing up this weekend, and I am excited to get Summer Koshien underway.

This August, to paraphrase Deanna, we'll have NPB, Olympic baseball, and Koshien to follow ... and then my head will explode.

I am keeping an eye on the final results from the last few local tournaments (Osaka, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, etc.) and am looking forward to the field of 55 when it is settled. Your posting of the "master list" of entrants is one of my favorite items on this site, Westbay-san.

Does anyone know whether Asahi will provide a live stream again? I was very happy to watch the matches last year, but it seems they have changed their website and my Japanese isn't good enough to understand what you have to do to watch the games.
