Searchable Koshien Database

Searchable Koshien Database
With the Summer Koshien 89 on the way, Asahi has launched a complete all-time database of all Koshien teams and results.

You now have the ability to search by school, year, prefecture, or number of appearances. It's a great tool for seeing how your alma mater has done through the years, or just to look back at Daisuke Matsuzaka's brilliant 1998 season.

I have already found myself spending way too much time on the site already, but I'll be back. Find it here in Japanese or use Google's automatic translator by searching for "asahi koshien" in Google. The data can be found near the top of the page in the green tabs.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
